Most tutors lose students not because of ability but because of how their profile reads.

Lead with specifics. "I teach Mathematics" says little. "I teach Class 9 to 12 Mathematics, CBSE and ICSE, with seven years of board exam preparation" tells a parent exactly whether to call you.

Show results without exaggeration. Mention how many students you have taught, typical improvement, and any board results you are proud of. Parents are sceptical of dramatic claims and reassured by specific modest ones.

Complete your verification. Profiles with verified Aadhaar and PAN receive noticeably more enquiries because parents filter for them.

Add a clear photo. It sounds trivial, but a profile with a real, friendly photograph is contacted far more than one without.

Respond quickly. Most parents contact three tutors and choose whoever replies first with a clear answer. Speed is the cheapest advantage available to you.

Finally, ask satisfied parents to rate you. Ratings compound, and a tutor with a dozen genuine reviews rarely runs short of students.
